Testing service

Our competency and effective search methodology ensures that only the best candidate is selected for the specified job role.

Testing can be stated as the process of validating and verifying that a software program/application/product, Software testing, depending on the testing method employed, can be implemented at any time in the development process. However, most of the test effort occurs after the requirements have been defined and the coding process has been completed, Few Testing methods are Unit testing, Integration testing, System testing, Regression testing, Acceptance testing, Stability testing, Usability testing, Security testing, etc
Testing services we offer are

Bluetooth Pre-Certification services

A device incorporating Bluetooth wireless technology must undergo testing according to the Bluetooth SIG Qualification Program in order to classify as a licensed product with the Bluetooth trademark. The GCS facilities by providing service of Bluetooth Pre-certification offering a comprehensive range of testing services:
Bluetooth Pre-Certification services include:
Profile Interoperability Testing
The Bluetooth SIG’s PTS (Profile Tuning Suite) Test System
GCS’s Bluetooth product library for Extended Interoperability Testing

Interoperability Testing

Minor differences in products due to ambiguous specifications and misinterpretations of specifications are often unavoidable. The best way to find the level of interoperability is by testing the products against several counterpart products. To address these issues, GCS offers extended interoperability testing through testing the products against several counterpart products.

BLUETOOTH MOBILE PHONES

Before launching a new phone, comprehensive compatibility testing helps to ensure it works properly with existing Bluetooth accessories like headsets, car kits, photo printers, and personal computers.
Although Bluetooth is a universal standard, it does not ensure consistent operation between devices and the advanced features that may be supported.
We test and evaluate 'peer-to-peer' capabilities and features of a Bluetooth phone against a pre-determined list of phones to ensure interoperability.
GCS testing verifies a mobile phone's ability to share content (pictures, music, etc.) in your phone with friends and family who all may own different makes of mobile phones.

BLUETOOTH ACCESSORIES

Before launching a new accessory, comprehensive compatibility testing helps to ensure it works properly with existing Bluetooth phones.
To ensure an accessory performs to customer expectations, the GCS can test it with a single carrier or multiple carriers' entire line-up of devices.
To ensure interoperability, the GCS tests a new accessory against a pre-determined list of phones.
We have an extensive inventory ( or based on client requirement ) of Bluetooth phones to test against.
We review and evaluate user manuals to ensure accuracy and ease of use.

HANDS-FREE PROFILE

HFP allows wireless operation of your mobile phone from a simple headset or a more sophisticated hands-free device integrated into an automobile. Some of the functions provided by the Hands-Free Profile are:

ADVANCED AUDIO DISTRIBUTION PROFILE (A2DP)

A2DP allows a mobile phone or other media player device to stream stereo audio to wireless stereo headphones, speakers, or an automotive unit.
This profile is typically used in conjunction with the Hands-Free Profile to allow a mobile phone to provide a rich, complete hands-free user experience. It allows a user to enjoy their favorite music while maintaining control over the 'phone' capability of the mobile phone.
Users can pause their music to make and receive calls and resume streaming music once the call is completed, without once having to pick up the mobile phone.

AUDIO/VIDEO REMOTE CONTROL PROFILE (AVRCP)

AVRCP is used together with A2DP enabling consumers to take remote control of a phone's media player capabilities.
Users can play, pause, stop, fast-forward, etc., from a headset or speaker device for hands-free use.

OBJECT PUSH PROFILE (OPP)

OPP is used for the user-initiated sharing of personal information contained in a phone's contact list or calendar.
OPP allows the user to send a contact or appointment data from one mobile phone to another or between a Bluetooth equipped computer and a mobile phone.
OPP allows the user to accomplish this in a secure fashion. The user must search for, and connect, to a specific phone or computer, or by authorizing a connection from a phone or computer.

PHONE BOOK ACCESS PROFILE (PBAP)

PBAP is similar to OPP, and allows the user to share contact information contained in a phone's contact list or SIM card. However, unlike OPP, it allows this transfer to take place automatically instead of requiring the user to authorize each connection.
Also unlike OPP, PBAP only transfers contact data and not appointment or calendar information.
PBAP also allows call history data associated with missed calls, outgoing calls or incoming calls to be shared. And, as with OPP, connections are secured through the means of 'pairing' or 'bonding' the devices prior to the transfer of data.
PBAP is typically found in automobiles with integrated Bluetooth systems. Working with HFP it allows the user to place calls from the contact list in their mobile phone using the Bluetooth system built into the automobile. The automobile can also use the contact information to aid in navigation.

DIAL UP NETWORK PROFILE (DUN)

DUN allows the mobile phone to be connected and used, by a laptop or PC, as a data modem.
With a wireless data service plan (3G), DUN allows the user to use a computer to access the Internet through their mobile phone.
Users can browse a website, send and receive e-mail, or download files over the internet.
While typically used with a computer, many automobile manufacturers are including DUN as a part of their integrated Bluetooth package in order to allow data access for things like navigation, traffic reports, or maintenance and telemetry data.

FILE TRANSFER PROFILE (FTP)

FTP is used in mobile phones for the transfer of images, video, or music files to another phone or a computer.
All connections are secured through a pairing process and must be authenticated by the user prior to any data transfer.
Some use of FTP has been in the area of mobile 'push' advertising and transaction (i.e. vending machines or electronic kiosks).

BASIC PRINTING PROFILE (BPP)

The Basic Printing Profile is simply a cable replacement function that allows a phone or computer to wirelessly send documents and images to a printer.

MEMORY CARDS

GCS Testing the operation of a mobile phone with the full range of memory card sizes and classes to determine exactly which cards are compatible with a device.
Some areas of evaluation include:
The GCS provides compatibility testing of memory cards across a carrier's or manufacturer's mobile phone line-up, including camera and music phones.
Testing determines file-type compatibility and confirms a phone's ability to properly format a card, identify the used and available space, and read/write to the card.
Fit, performance, and application stability are evaluated to help identify any customer-affecting problems.

GCS also do take-up CUSTOM ACCESSORIES TESTING

Some areas of evaluation include: Bluetooth fixed access unit, Bluetooth picture frames, Bluetooth printers, Bluetooth desktop speakerphone
